Software development, web development and digital marketing

The team that builds and runs PanelOps and our POS, restaurant, inventory and accounting systems takes on client work in three areas: custom software, websites and web applications, and digital marketing.

Custom software built to run in production

We design and build web apps, desktop tools and mobile solutions with PHP, Python, ASP.NET and Java, the same languages behind PanelOps, our POS system and our accounting software.

  • Requirements and scope defined before a line of code is written
  • Database design and system architecture reviewed before the build
  • Testing and staged deployment, not a single big-bang release
  • Support after launch from the same team that shipped it

Discovery and scope

We map what the software needs to do, who uses it, and what "done" looks like before quoting a timeline.

Architecture and design

Database schema, system architecture and UI screens are agreed before development starts.

Build and test

Development in milestones with working builds you can review along the way, not just at the end.

Launch and support

Deployment, handover documentation, and ongoing support from the developers who built it.

Site map and content plan

Pages, structure and keyword targets are planned before any design work begins.

Design and build

Responsive layouts built for the pages you actually need, not a generic template.

SEO and performance pass

Meta tags, structured data, image optimization and Core Web Vitals checked before launch.

Launch

DNS, hosting and analytics wired up, with a post-launch check a few days after go-live.

Websites and web applications that load fast and get found

Business websites, web applications and e-commerce stores, built for speed, accessibility and search visibility from the first commit rather than bolted on afterwards.

  • Semantic HTML, one clear heading hierarchy, alt text on every image
  • Structured data (JSON-LD) so search engines understand your content
  • Mobile-first, tested at real breakpoints, not just resized in a browser
  • WordPress, custom PHP or a JavaScript framework, whichever fits the project

SEO, social media and ads, measured against real targets

SEO, social media management and paid ads with measurable targets: the same playbook we use to grow our own Amazon storefronts and PanelOps' customer base. Plans start at $199 a month, and every price is published.

  • Keyword research and content plans tied to actual search demand
  • Technical SEO audits: page speed, indexation, structured data
  • Social media content calendars and scheduling, not one-off posts
  • Monthly reporting against agreed targets, not vanity metrics

Before you send a brief

Pricing, technology and who looks after the work once it's live.

How much does a software or website project cost?
Software and website projects are quoted individually, because a booking tool and a multi-warehouse inventory system are very different jobs. Your quote shows the exact price before you commit. Marketing plans and one-off SEO projects have fixed, published prices on our pricing page.
Which languages and platforms do you build with?
For software: PHP, Python, ASP.NET and Java. For websites: WordPress, custom PHP or a JavaScript framework, whichever fits the project and the people who will look after it once it is live.
Who maintains the software after launch?
The same team that built it. We handle deployment, handover documentation and ongoing support, so you are not passed to someone reading the code for the first time.
Do you work with clients in the UK?
Yes. UK clients are contracted and invoiced in GBP by Tech N Byte LTD, and US clients by Tech N Byte LLC. Contracts, invoicing and support run through the entity in your own jurisdiction.
Do you guarantee search rankings?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Search engines and social platforms decide rankings and reach. We commit to the work listed in your plan, agreed targets, and a monthly report that shows exactly what moved.
Can you build a custom version of one of your products?
Our POS, restaurant, inventory, accounting and appointment systems are deployed for businesses on request, and they can be adapted to how you work. See the products, then send us your brief.
